  Contact a librarian by e-mail, phone, or in person at the University of Chicago Library.
• Class Librarians
  The Class Librarians can help College students navigate the variety of resources and services available at the Library. Each Librarian serves a specific class of The College, from orientation to graduation.
• Circulation Services
  Information about borrowing books and other Library materials, including due dates, renewal policies, fines and late fees, etc.
• College Librarians
  Personal, one-on-one reference and research assistance at Harper Memorial Library Commons. Librarians are available to help students Monday-Friday, 2-5 pm.
• Computing Services
  Information about computers and computing labs, connecting to the wireless and ethernet, and how to get assistance.
• Copying and Network Printing
  The Library's printing and photocopying maintenance service. Report a problem with a copier or printer, or purchase photocopying cards on a departmental account.
• Course Reserves
  High demand items for a course available online or through a short-term loan at the Library. Includes directions for instructors about placing materials on reserve.
• Dissertation Office
  Information for graduate students writing a dissertation. Dissertation Office staff assist graduate students in meeting the University-wide requirements for publishing Ph.D. theses.
• Document Delivery / Gargoyle Express
  Service where the Library will copy articles or chapters of books for current University of Chicago students, faculty and staff and deliver them to you for a fee.
• Interlibrary Loan
  Request materials available at other libraries around the U.S. and Canada.
• ID & Privileges Office
  Information about how to obtain Chicago Cards, Library access and borrowing privileges, CNET IDs, International Student IDs, passport & immigration photos, class photo rosters, CTA passes, and Airport Shuttle tickets.
• Library Instruction
  Workshops and programs to help you learn about the Library and its resources. Includes information on how to schedule a customized session or tour for your class.
• Purchase Requests
  Request that an item be purchased for the Library.
• Subject Specialists / Bibliographers
  Subject specific reference services.
• Research Consultations
  Make an appointment with a librarian about a research paper or project.
• Search Services
  Request that a search be placed on an item which is not checked out, but not on the shelf.
